I'm Derek Peachey

The Flathead Valley is a special place. What makes it special isn't simply the mountains, rivers, open spaces, or small towns. It's the people who live here and the values that have shaped these communities for generations: hard work, personal responsibility, freedom, strong families, and neighbors willing to show up for one another.

Those are the values my wife, Stephanie, and I are working to pass along to our two sons. They're also a big part of why I'm running to represent House District 3 in the Montana Legislature.

Montana is changing. Our responsibility is to make sure we don't lose what makes this place worth protecting.

I often say that we don't inherit Montana; we borrow it from our kids.

I want our children to inherit communities where they can afford to live, build businesses, raise families, enjoy our public lands, and experience the freedoms and opportunities that make Montana extraordinary.

That's why I'm running, and that's the commitment I'll take

Public service isn't about a title. It's about showing up, listening, and getting things done.

I'm a conservative who believes in limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, strong families, and the Constitution. I'll fight for meaningful property tax reform, responsible wildfire prevention and forest management, and an environment where Montana's small businesses can thrive.

But representing House District 3 also means listening to people who don't always agree with me. I've spent much of my career bringing people with different perspectives together, finding common ground, and moving toward solutions. with me to Helena.
